As a black man -- or even as a man in general -- we are taught to be strong as we can in the face of difficult times, which is something I take pride in doing, even in these enlightening times about mental health. just like everyone in 2020, I was trying to find my own peace and work through it. There were a few family losses, I changed cities, moved in with my gal, things going on at work, working on new music and of course adjusting to a COVID-stricken world. With that said, I wrote and produced this song for my own reasons but I hope that the rest of the black men, such as myself, are out there trying to find their peace in this world, in this climate, in this year.
